Jenni Schwaner Ladd has been designing, constructing, altering, repairing or otherwise wrangling costumes for 17 years. Over the years she has designed for Summerfun Theatre of NJ; Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre of Evanston, IL; Irish Repertory of Chicago; Four Seasons Theatre of WI; and nearly every community theatre in the city of Madison. As wardrobe supervisor, she worked with Lookingglass Theatre of Chicago and toured with the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Jenni currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin, where she divides her time between working for the Wisconsin IBEW Apprenticeship & Training Program as an administrative assistant, hosting a radio show on WORT 89.9 FM, being assistant costume supervisor for the Madison Opera and costume assistant for the Madison Ballet, and touring with any company that wants her to take care of their costumes. Obviously, she does not sleep much, and her beloved husband David and cats Curtis and Marlowe are very tolerant of her frequent career-based absences. Jenni is delighted to be working with Bombshell Studios, and especially with Michael Babbitt, who was one of the first people to hire her as designer way back in Missouri, 1994, for a memorable outdoor production of Julius Caesar. She holds an MA in Theatre History and an MFA in Costume Design from the University of Illinois-Urbana.
