Producer and Lead Sound Engineer
Matthew graduated from Duke University with a Masters in Economics (specialization in Finance) and has a Bachelors in Math and Political Science from UNC. He also co-founded the successful non-profit foundation, the Grace Church Foundation, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees. He has four years experience overseeing the finances, and project management of small businesses and non-profits. Matthew also races triathlons. He lives in Chapel Hill, NC.
Matthew became involved in sound engineering in high school. Not wanting to be “on stage” or “on camera” he picked a discipline that had a significant effect on the outcome without being center-stage. Since then, he has worked in sound engineering for over 10 years, leading the sound team at his church (average Sunday attendance around 500), working with numerous bands and organizations to run live shows, conferences, and presentations, and assisting with studio recording.
For the past year, Matthew has fine-tuned his studio skills, working with Bombshell studios on the short “Elimination.” An audiophile by nature, studio and video work come naturally to Matthew who is always striving for the best possible sound and a way to present it that enhances the experience or media.
